Harvest 2022: great work in Volastra!
Also this year in Volastra, in the heart of the Cinque Terre National Park, in the land of “Il Vigneto”, the final act of a hard year of work in the terraced strips took place: the harvest.
2022 reserved for us a very long and torrid summer, which began as early as May, with total absence of rainfall which allowed a perfect and very early ripening of the grapes, so much so that the harvest began in early September.
Our Bosco, Vermentino and Albarola quality grapes, mixed in the right proportions, have allowed us a splendid white vinification, with the pressing of the skins after only 48 hours of maceration, which will surely give us an excellent DOC white wine with its tastes. and aromas typical of our territory.
The Sciacchetrà grapes also reached an excellent quantity, subsequently dried, and then vinified in the traditional way, without the use of mechanical means, about a month after the harvest.
